Electric vehicles are the next big step towards a sustainable future. It is an effective way towards mitigating the dependency on crude oil. It is also considered to be immensely helpful in minimizing carbon footprint and improving transportation sustainability. It is believed that the EV market share will witness immense growth from just 1.4% in March to 24% by 2040. The development of this industry has also opened up employment and growth opportunities for individuals who have the required knowledge about the required field. Keeping in mind the development needs of industry 4.0 in automotive, IIT Delhi has launched the Advanced Programme in E-Vehicle Technology. The course aims to provide a basic understanding of the working of the storage devices from a single cell to pack level, duty cycles led sizing of storage so that it becomes easy for the participants. It also teaches the basics of power electronics which is required for interfacing devices with drivetrains. The E-Vehicle courses in Delhi are designed to help the participants build the required skills, capabilities and learn about the know-hows of the e-mobility domain. This course is for engineers and professionals vying to work in the automobile industry.
